Cloud Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Security/DevOps Engineer to help design, implement, and maintain secure, scalable cloud environments across AWS and Azure. The ideal candidate will combine strong cloud engineering capability with security expertise, automation skills, and a passion for building resilient, compliant systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement secure cloud architectures across AWS and Azure
  • Implement and manage cloud security guardrails and best practices
  • Build and maintain multi-account AWS environments with strong governance controls
  • Develop and enforce security standards, policies, and guardrails aligned to industry frameworks
  • Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation
  • Evaluate and integrate cloud security tools and services
  • Support secure design of cloud-native applications and workloads
  • Collaborate with DevOps teams to embed security into CI/CD pipelines
  • Continuously improve cloud security posture and risk visibility

Cloud Security & Governance

  • Strong understanding of AWS Security Services (IAM, GuardDuty, Security Hub, CloudTrail, Config)
  • Familiarity with Azure Security Services (Defender for Cloud, Entra ID, Policy, Sentinel)
  • Knowledge of CSPM / CNAPP platforms such as Prisma Cloud, Cortex, and Microsoft Defender for Cloud
  • Understanding of cloud governance and compliance frameworks (NIST, CIS, ISO 27001)
  • Experience implementing least privilege IAM models and identity governance

DevSecOps & Engineering

  • Strong experience with CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps, Jenkins)
  • Hands-on experience with Kubernetes and Docker in production environments
  • Ability to implement observability solutions (logging, monitoring, alerting)
  • Experience embedding security into DevOps pipelines (DevSecOps)
  • Familiarity with SAST, DAST, and SCA security testing tools
  • Strong scripting ability using Python, Bash, or similar languages

Security & Best Practices

  • Strong understanding of OWASP, CIS Benchmarks, NIST frameworks
  • Ability to define and enforce cloud security guardrails and standards
  • Experience with secrets management and IAM role governance
  • Understanding of threat modeling and secure cloud architecture principles

Required Skills

  • AWS and/or Azure cloud experience
  • Infrastructure as Code (Terraform preferred)
  • CI/CD pipeline expertise
  • Container orchestration (Kubernetes/Docker)
  • Strong security mindset with automation focus
  • Ability to work in agile, cross-functional teams

Qualifications:

  • Relevant BSc / BEng / BTech
  • Cloud Certifications: AWS and Azure
  • Security certification
