Key Responsibilities
Product Development
- Contribute to the enhancement and ongoing development of the Finsurv TXstreamm Submission platform.
- Design and implement features across backend services, rule engines, and front-end interfaces.
- Translate regulatory requirements into software functionality including:
- Rule-driven validations
- Smart forms and submission workflows
- Regulatory reporting logic
- Data transformation and submission processes
- Support development across the wider Finsurv ecosystem including:
- Finsurv Central Hub, Licensing Dashboards
- Modernised Product Interfaces
- Smart Forms
- Submission Applications
- Build scalable and maintainable solutions aligned to product architecture.
Regulatory Domain Implementation
- Work closely with domain experts and senior engineers to implement regulatory rules into the platform.
- Develop and maintain domain-specific rule logic and DSL-based implementations.
- Gain exposure to:
- Balance of Payments (BoP) Reporting
- Financial Regulatory Submission Processes
Engineering Collaboration
- Work in a cross-functional Agile product environment.
Participate in: Sprint Planning, Backlog Refinement, Code Reviews, Technical Discussions
- Contribute to architecture improvements and solving complex engineering challenges.
- Collaborate through knowledge sharing and technical support.
Client & Delivery Support
- Engage with stakeholders to gather requirements and troubleshoot issues.
- Drive tasks independently while collaborating effectively with the wider team.
- Support production issue resolution and sustainable improvements.
Continuous Learning

Required Skills & Experience
Strong software development experience using Java or other object-oriented languages
Experience with Angular or Vue (HTML, CSS, JavaScript)
Understanding of backend and frontend enterprise application development
SQL and relational database experience
REST APIs, JSON, and XML integration experience
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Agile product development experience
Minimum 3+ years’ experience as a Software Engineer on a product team
Advantageous
Experience in RegTech or financial systems
Knowledge of Balance of Payments (BoP) reporting
Experience with rule engines, validation frameworks, or DSLs
Exposure to long-term product platforms
Certifications in:
- Java/JavaScript
- Web Development Frameworks
- Microsoft Technologies
- SQL Server
- AWS or similar cloud platforms
