Specialist D365 ERP Project Manager
We are looking for an experienced Project Manager (D365 ERP Implementation) to lead a strategic Microsoft Dynamics 365 transformation programme focused on modernising core finance and operational processes.
This is a high-impact role driving delivery through the Build & Test phase through to Go-Live and Hypercare.
Project Overview
The organisation is implementing Microsoft Dynamics 365 (Finance & Operations) to:
- Modernise finance and operational processes
- Improve governance, reporting, and standardisation
- Enable scalable and efficient ways of working
The programme includes:
Solution design, configuration, data migration, system integrations, testing (SIT & UAT), change management, training, deployment, and hypercare support.
Responsibilities
- Develop and manage the integrated project plan across all workstreams
- Lead project governance, reporting, and Steering Committee updates
- Manage implementation partner(s) and delivery performance
- Oversee scope, change control, RAID, and dependencies
- Drive end-to-end testing, defect management, and quality assurance
- Coordinate data migration, cutover planning, and go-live readiness
- Support business change, training, communications, and adoption
- Ensure structured delivery using governance frameworks and stage gates
- Manage stakeholder engagement and executive-level reporting
What We’re Looking For
- 8–10+ years Project Management experience
- 3–5+ years leading ERP implementations
- Proven experience delivering at least one full Microsoft Dynamics 365 (Finance/Operations) implementation through go-live and hypercare
- Strong understanding of ERP processes (P2P, O2C, R2R)
- Experience managing vendors, delivery teams, and senior stakeholders
- Strong governance, RAID, and change control experience
Qualifications & Tools
- Degree/Diploma in IT, Commerce, Engineering or related
- PMP or PRINCE2 certification (required)
- MS Dynamics 365 / Power Platform certifications (advantageous)
- Proficiency in MS Project, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Teams
