Privacy Policy, Terms of Service & Legal Info
Our website address is: https://52.18.42.110. We have recently updated our privacy policy in relation to the way in which we process data for the UK companies we contact in order to protect your personal data in line with the new EU led GDPR legislation coming in to force from the 25th of May 2018.
On our website, we only collect information that is necessary to provide you with the service you request, but typically we collect your name, company name, location details, email address and any other information you provide to us through our Contact form. In short, we only collect personal information about you and your company in order for JMR Software to help you. We absolutely will not sell your data to anyone. This Policy applies only to our web site and not to any web sites to which we show links.
Our email privacy policy has been created to demonstrate our strong commitment to your privacy and protection of your information. We have an excellent track record of working with UK companies and want to retain our relationships with you.
If you received a mailing from us, (a) your email address is either listed with us as someone who has expressly shared this address for the purpose of receiving information in the future (“opt-in”) or (b) you have engaged in email communications with us, registered or purchased something, visited us on a stand at a conference or otherwise have an existing relationship with a member of the JMR Software team or through networking.
It could also be that your information was publicly available, on LinkedIn or your company website. If this is the case we would have contacted you on the basis of lawful and Legitimate Interest due to the role you play in your organisation and the software solutions and services we provide. However, we respect your time and attention by controlling the frequency of our mailings, but if you really don’t want to hear from us then please unsubscribe.
Your data is stored in our Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system and it is an online solution, which automatically creates an audit trail of any activity by both an account and at individual level.
If you request that your details are removed from our database based on your ‘rights to be forgotten’, this is done immediately. However, we retain proof of this removal, in the form of a GDPR-compliant audit trail from the system that shows that you have been removed, when and by whom, if proof is required.
All outbound emails that JMR Software sends always provide recipients with the option to unsubscribe on a clickable link beneath the signature “click here to unsubscribe”. This automates the completion of a tick box and will immediately stop you from receiving any further emails from JMR Software.
We use security measures to protect against the loss, misuse and alteration of data used in our CRM system
We will never share, sell or rent individual personal information with anyone without your advance permission or unless ordered by a court of law. Information you submit is only available to employees managing this information for the purposes of contacting you or sending you emails based on your request for information and to contracted service providers for purposes of providing services relating to our communications with you.
Each email sent in the UK contains an easy, automated way for you to stop receiving emails. If you want to do this, follow the instructions at the end of any email you receive from JMR Software.
Essentially, in agreeing to this policy, you consent to our collecting data about you, using it and contacting you in different ways. However, we aim to provide you with the best possible service, update you on new information posted to the site, and new products and services from JMR Software.
We may hold your data on a remote server if we think that is needed for suitable care and/or to improve our services to you.
As part of our process to align our Information Security Management System with the International Standard for which we are pursuing certification, we have a requirement to publish JMR’s Information Security Policy document to the JMR website so that this can be publicly accessed.
